Panrichikkudu is a variety of beans, green color and little width in size. This a creeper and seasonal vegetable. I think most of the people know about it.
Ingredients
- Pandiri chikkudu ½ kg
- Menti leaves handful
- Onion 1 chopped
- Green mirchi 2 chopped
- Til powder 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Popu
- Mustard seeds 1/8 tbsp
- Dry red mirchi 1 tear
- Curry leaves
- Oil 1 tbsp
How to prepare
- Wash pandiri chikkudu and tear two edges and open all chikkudukayalu one by one. Then only you have to cut into pieces.
- Cook them by adding little water. They will cook fastly not taking much time to cook.
- Keep aside and let it cool.
- Take pan, heat the oil and then add mustard seeds, red chilli, chopped onion, menthi leaves green mirchi and turmeric powder.
- Let it fry for some.
- Then add boiled chikkudu and fry for some time by adding salt.
- Finally add til powder.
- Stir it well.
Serve it with hot rice. Normally It goes tasty as side dish for sambar.
