Alu Methi

Normally if we used small potato like marbles in size looks nice to see. If not available we can cut the big potato into pieces. Very easy preparation. Takes little time and tasty.

Ingredients

  • Small potatos            1/4 kg
  • Menthi leaves            handful (wash and cut into peeces)
  • Green mirch              3
  • Onions                      2 medium size (chopped )
  • Turmeric powder      pinch
  • Salt to taste

  • Mustard seeds         
  • Dry red mirchi     1 (tear)
  • oil                       1tbsn
  • Curry leaves

How to prepare

  1. Wash and boil the potatoes and peel out the skin.
  2. Take a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, red mirch and curry leaves.
  3. Then add chopped onion, green chilli and turmeric powder.
  4. Then add washed menthi leaves.
  5. Let them fry till it turns brown.
  6. Then add salt and boiled pototo.
  7. Stir it well.
Serve with hot rice.
