Karamani & tomato


This is a  variation of Karamani and Brinjal curry. Very delicious and easy to make.



Ingredients

  • Karamani                   1/4 kg
  • Riped tomatos            1/4 kg
  • Onion                         2 medium chopped
  • Green mirchi               4 chopped
  • Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
  • Termaric powder
  • Oil                                3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

  • Mustard seeds
  • Jeera
  • Curry leaves
How to prepare
  1. Soak karamani over night.
  2. Boil them in the coooker by adding little salt. Keep aside
  3. Take deep pan add oil and heat it .
  4. Add mustered seeds and jeera and termaric powder. Let it pop.
  5. Then add chopped onion and green mirchi and fry for some time.
  6. Add chopped tomatos to it . Cook it till becomes tomato puery and starts to leave oil.
  7. Add masala powder and tranfer the cooked karamani from cooker to it.
  8. Check it for more salt and cook for some more time.
  9. Finally add curry leaves.
  10. Switch off the stove.
It goes tasty with roti or chapati.This is semi solid dish. By adding tomatos, dish becomes more delicious and yummy taste to gravy. If you like add some allam velluli paste also.
