It takes a a very less time to prepare.Quite healthy and filling also. Moog dal is very nutritional too. This yummy breakfast you can also take as snack item at any time of the day.

You can prepare without moog dal also.

Now let see how to make it.
INGREDIENTS
- Thick Poha (dampudu atukulu) 2 cups
- Moog dal 1/2 cup
- Fresh coconut (grated) 1/4 cup
- Green chillies 3 (finely chopped)
- Turmeric powder
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Oil
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Urad dal 1 tbsp
HOW TO PREPARE
- Soak moog dal for 2 hours
- Wash poha. Strain it and keep aside for 10 minutes
- Poha absorbs the water and puff up a little, like sponge
- Heat the pan, add oil, let it heat.
- Then add mustard seeds, when spluttering add jeera, urad dal, curry leaves, green mirchi and turmeric powder. Fry briefly for a min.
- Add poha, soaked moog dal and salt.
- Stir well thoroughly to mix every thing.
- Cover with lid and let it stream for 5 to 7 minutes on very low flame. Stir in between.
- Turn off the stove.
- Finally add grated fresh coconut and coriander leaves . Mix well.
