About Me

I am from a vegetarian family from coastal Andhra Pradesh. My grandmother and my mother are very good at cooking traditional recipes. I learnt many wonderful recipes from them. I was married into a Rayalaseema family where I learnt wonderful breakfast and snack items from my mother-in-law.

I like to explore, experiment and learn a variety of recipes. Most of the times I use the seasonal fruits and vegetables and try to prepare as many dishes as possible during that period. My son always likes to try new dishes, where as my daughter always likes traditional dishes. I maintain the right blend of traditional and new dishes.

Most of our relatives and friends live close by and we have frequent get togethers. I generally make all the authentic dishes that my mother and grand mother used to prepare when we all meet up in our house. My brothers and sisters love these dishes.

This blog is to show the flavor of traditional Indian home cooking especially Andhra Pradesh. This blog is dedicated to all my family, friends and relatives who love my dishes.

Try these dishes and give it your own unique touch. Don't forget to post your comments and suggestions.

Happy cooking !!!
