Carrot Cinnamon Soup



Hi

Today I am coming with CARROT CINNAMON SOUP teaming with good for you ingredients. Just like salad having a bowl of soup,is packed with a lot of nutrients.. It easily fills you up, its ideal to take soup at the beginning of any meal. Most of us like to have soup in winter season. Moreover we get key nutrients. Home made soup is best and the preparation is also takes less time.

OK.Let us go to prepare carrot cinnamon soup as carrots are available through out the year.

Ingredients
  • Carrots                                        1 bunch ( say 5 )
  • Onion                                            1 medium Peeled and chopped
  • Cinnamon powder                        1/8 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves                                 3 minced
  • Ginger                                            1/4 " piece
  • Honey                                            1 tbsp
  • Salt and ground pepper                1/2 tbsp
  • Olive oil
How I did
  1. Take a thick bottom wok, add 1 tbsp of olive oil and heat it on a medium heat.
  2. Gently salute  chopped onion, garlic and ginger till onion becomes transparent. It takes 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Then add washed and chopped carrots.
  4. Give good stir for 5 minutes. let them cool.
  5. Using blender make it into smooth paste.
  6. Then add honey, salt and ground pepper powder for taste and brighten flavor.
  7. Transfer into a clean bowl.
  8. Add milk.
  9. See the consistency. If too thick add little water.
  10. Check the taste, Check the salt and see if there is enough cinnamon and more if necessary.
My Note

You can add cumin powder also.
You can add fresh lemon juice also. 
Onion pays big dividends in flavor.
