Bobbarla vadalu

Hi Friends

I am coming up with yet another snack item. This is Bobbarla vadalu. This is similar to how we make masala vada. We use bobbarlu instead of Channa dal. Easy to prepare and highly nutritious. A very good evening snack for kids when they come back from school.

Ingredients

Bobbarlu                     1 cup
Onion                          1 small (finely chopped)
Coriander                    1 small bunch (finely chopped)
Green Chillies              4 (finely chopped)
Ginger                         1 inch (finely chopped)
Jeera                           2 tbsp
Salt                              according to taste
Oil                               for deep frying




Method

1. Soak 1 cup of bobbarlu for atleast 4-5 hours
2. Grind it into a coarse paste and take it in a bowl
3. Now add all the other ingredients to it except the oil.
4. Make them into patties and deep fry them.
