Kandi Dosa

 This dosa is made out of rice and toor dal. Normally we prepare dosa with rice and urad dal. This dosa is made out of rava made of rice and toor dal. Very tasty and different from other breakfast items. Generally this breakfast prepared in Rayalaseema region.  Try at once this tasty breakfast.

Ingredients (To make 8 Dosas):
  • Rice              2cups
  • Toor dal        ¾ cup
  • Sour curd     1 cup
  • Green chillies 6 (make it into paste)
  • Onion            2 finely chopped
  • Curry leaves   10 to 12 chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil


Method:
  1. Grind rice and toor dal  into fine rava.
  2. Soak this rava in sour curd and add chilli paste, chopped onion, cury leaves and salt and keep aside for 30 minutes (if necessary add some water). The final mixture should be like dosa pindi.
  3. Take pan and make it heat on medium flame. Grease it with oil  put  prepared mixture and spread it like dosa. Sprinkle little oil. Put a lid on it.
  4. Turn the dosa to other side. Sprinkle little oil. Roast  kandi dosa little crispy.
Serve it with curd or ghee.
