Palak pakoda

Today I want to show you very very hot tea time snack ie the delicious palak pakoda. I like this snack very much. Yesterday my daughter prepared this after she come back from office in London. She learnt from me. I have given guidance when she is preparing palak pakoda.  This is easy to do snack. It has more iron content and more nutrition values.

Ingredients
  • Basin                              1 hand full
  • Fresh palak                    3 handful  (chopped finely)
  • Onion                             1 big chopped
  • Green mirchi                   5 adjust cut into slices
  • Garlic and ginger paste    1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for fry



How to  prepare
  1. Take a wide bowl and mix all the above items by adding required salt and 1 tbsp of hot oil.
  2. Mix the batter well with your hand.
  3. The batter should be stiff, other wise it absorbs more oil.
  4. Take  thick bottom pan.
  5. Add oil and heat it on medium flame.
  6. Take handful of batter and drop the batter little by little by the middle of your fingers to form fritters. This a techinic of dropping of basin batter gently.
  7. Again put on medium flame.
  8. Fry them till turns brown.
  9. Keep the fried palak pakoda on tissue paper to absorb the excess oil.
Serve palak pakoda with garama garam tea in evening time.

Note

You can store this snack item in ait tight tin for 2 days.
